Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. As well as BJJ classes She also took classes in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd kept building on her win at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She defeated all her opponents in the first round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via one-round TKO. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd had missed weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. Aspen won her fight via TKO in the second-round. At Invicta FC21, she was the final match with the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the 2nd. She continued her dominance and picked up a more stunning victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. She also received an extra bonus for her performance that evening. Her first major fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both the fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7 at ESPN. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
