Dina was born in Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she moved in Dix Hills on Long Island just before she finished her senior year. Dina Meyer has two brothers. Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger. From the age of nine up to 16, she started working in the entertainment business through modeling. She began her training in acting in The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and studied the acting skills of Sanford Meisner, with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock has received the same training as Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. After moving into Los Angeles, she got her first lead role in the Beverly Hills 90210. Then, she got the role of the main character in the film Johnny Mnemonic, in which she was able to do all her own stunts and established herself as an athlete. It was through the agency for talent of Matt LeBlanc that she was successful in securing a regular role on Friends.
